First English Wine Tasting Tour
6th June 2015
The very first English wine tasting tour took place on the last day of English Wine Week.
Nicola Boarer, founder said ” The first tour appealed to a real mixed bag, with some cool 20 somethings, a couple on secondment from Korea and some Kiwi’s who wanted to see the comparison with Australia and New Zealand.”
The wine tours start from a central London location, it then heads off to Hush Heath Estate in Kent, famous for the Balfour Brut Rosé. All tours enjoy a gourmet lunch at The Goudhurst Inn, the fish & chips or burger come highly recommended. next stop was Chapel down Winery, one of England’s leading wine producers.
The wine tasting tours are a great way to experience English vineyards and of course enjoy tasting the great range of wine, England offers, a perfect day out for food and wine lovers.
Tailor made tours can be created for groups, companies, hen parties etc.
