A temporary Champagne bar will be open on April 28th in the courtyard of the Syndicat des Vignerons, 19 Avenue de Champagne. L’Eté des Vignerons will last until September 3rd.

The first bar was opened here in 2016. It was the idea of a group of young Champagne makers. In two months they sold 500 bottles of Champagne.

24 cuvées will be on offer from throughout the appellation. Visitors can choose to drink by the glass or the bottle. They can also discover the diversity of the Champagne on offer with four glasses.

On Fridays and Saturdays local produce will be on sale. It will be the chance to learn about their pairing with Champagne. Each Sunday there will be a one hour tasting session. A special exhibition hall will be open for visitors to learn about Champagne from a historical, scientific or artistic perspective.

The temporary bar will also be linked with other events. A group will play in the courtyard during the Fête de la Musique. There will be a celebration for the Champagne being listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The avenue will come alive with musicians and street theatre for La Champagne en Fête. There will be a picnic in the avenue on July 14th.

The temporary bar is an ideal place to rest your feet and enjoy some delicious champagnes in the magnificent Avenue de Champagne.
