“As a dedicated Champagne and Sparkling Wine awards, we believe we give you the greatest value for money and the best exposure for your Gold Winning Wines.” Christopher Walkey, Founder of Glass of Bubbly.
Michael Edwards (Chair of Judging) and Tanya Mann M.Che.E, Dip WSET will lead the judging process to select the best wines to be shortlisted for our second round of judging by invited Sommeliers, chefs and keen wine professionals. “By giving out an award, for example of a rosé Franciacorta, and calling it Gold for Fruity and Floral is far better for the end consumer to understand over Gold for NV Rosé. It is important we communicate and relate Champagne and Sparkling Wines in ways that end consumers understands better and are then more likely to engage with.” Christopher Walkey, Founder of Glass of Bubbly.
We have an early bird entrant fee of just £100 + VAT – Please initially email your interest to [email protected] (All Champagne and Sparkling Wine Entries accepted)
Entries are now open until end of August 2017. Judging will take place in October 2017 with the awards evening for November 2017. Location for judging and awards evening will be Le Meridien Piccadilly Hotel, London.
“Wines express themselves and we as wine professionals love to describe their nose and tastes so it is clear in my mind that giving awards with these descriptive titles is the way forward and especially if we want to share them with consumers.” Tanya Mann, M.Che.E, Dip WSET.
