VINCO Extra Brut Spumante Abruzzo

If you are seeking bubbles then it would be a wise move to check out the website of Vin.Co – Made in Abruzzo (from grape to bottle), is their focus and the finest of fizz their passion.

Cooperating to grow, conquering new markets in the name of sparkling wines made in Abruzzo : VIN.CO was born on the wave of the growing enthusiasm for “bubbles” and the common desire to enhance indigenous wine production with its own brand.

Roots in Abruzzo:

Our roots lie in the “strong and gentle” Abruzzo, the cradle of historic autochthonous vines and fine DOC labels. Trebbiano, Montepulciano, Cerasuolo, Pecorino, Passerina, Cococciola, Montonico have always been our pride; but not everyone knows that, in addition to generating quality still wines, those same grapes are used and processed elsewhere, as the basis for producing sparkling wines.

We tasted two Extra Dry (sweeter) sparkling wines from Vin.Co:

Bianco Extra Dry – Bronze Medal 2020 Glass of Bubbly Awards ‘Dessert‘ – Tasting notes: “Oily green fruits again on the nose, soft honeysuckle expression, peach. Green fruity expression, comfortable sugar levels, fresh and mouth watering especially when served 6/7°C.

Rosé Extra Dry – Silver Medal 2020 Glass of Bubbly Awards ‘Summer Days‘ – Tasting notes: “Peach, red fruit, pink floral aromas. Aromatic, peach candy sweets, apricot, strawberry flavours. Ever so easy to drink. Sweetness that appears natural from the grape rather than added sugar.
