Prosecco From Villa Sandi

Villa Sandi produces what seems to be like an endless supply of Prosecco, but without ever compromising on quality, no matter what bottle you decide to pick up, you will get a worthy and enjoyable experience.

Located in the picturesque region of Prosecco, with Villa Sandi having a foothold in the region since 1622, thanks to their Palladian-style Villa located among the green hills of the Marca Trevigiana, the Moretti Polegato family, for several generations have dedicated their time producing and sharing their wines and Proseccos around the world.

With the wide range of Prosecco on offer, did you know that Villa Sandi also produces traditional method sparkling wine? There’s sure to be something in their range that you like. I aim to help you discover which bottles of Villa Sandi you might prefer.

Prosecco is cheaper than Champagne because it uses the Charmat Method which doesn’t take as long as the Champagne/Classic Method, this factor, including the vast amount of bottles they produce, this allows them to give you high class Prosecco at an affordable price.

As mentioned Villa Sandi doesn’t just offer Prosecco, they also offer Traditional Method Sparkling Wines under their Opere Label along with red and white still wines all produced in the region of Prosecco under the Villa Sandi Brand.

Villa Sandi Prosecco

Villa Sandi – Nero Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Brut – First Date Trophy Winner

Tasting Notes – “The bottle design / branding hits the mark. For me, a Prosecco has certain characters I wish it to display to me. Here we have a less fruity sugar character. Green pear and Granny Smith apple with limestone on the nose. Flavours are clear and refreshing, very light of fruits shown, more towards floral and stone / limestone. Ideal for a glass of as an aperitif or to pair with light foods.”

Villa Sandi – Prosecco DOC Brut Il Fresco Biologico Organic – Gold Medal Winner Gastronomic

Tasting Notes – More of a green character on the nose. Greengage, green apple skin, honeysuckle and a splash of lime zest. Organic and green will please the taster – green fruits with a rounded white floral expression. It removes itself slightly from the typical Prosecco characters, though it still gives a creamy bubble expression with a refreshing zest edge. Thumbs up to Villa Sandi!
