The Italian Lord Cocktail

The Italian Lord – A simple, elegant and sweet Cocktail

You don’t always need a lot of ingredients to create an enjoyable Cocktail, sometimes all you need is a few good quality ingredients.

Lord Randolph – Oxford Malt Whisky

‘Genius is found in simplicity with a twist’

After creating the IQ Oxford Gin that we had the pleasure of including in The English 75 Cocktail, Black Bottle Distillery is back with an Oxford Malt Whisky, called Lord Randolph.

This is a handcrafted Malt Whisky that is distilled from grain to bottle at BBD, each bottle contains 700mls.

Whiskey vs Whisky – People spell Whiskey/Whisky in two different ways, the Scottish, Canadian, Japanese and English spell it without the ‘e’ as Whisky and the Irish and American spell it with an ‘e’ as Whiskey, the difference in spelling comes from the translation between the Scottish and Irish Gaelic forms.

Tasting Notes: “Dried apricots and vanilla cake.”

Conte Giulio – Italian Sparkling Wine

Started in the first half of the 19th century in Italy, with an 800 square meter cellar and 50 hectares of land, The Bruscia Winery produces both still and Sparkling Wine, including this award winning bottle.

Bruscia – Conte Giulio Brut – Tasting Notes:

Aroma – “Green and golden fruits with doughy aroma.”

Taste “Green apple skin and zesty & zingy flavours.”

A Silver Medal winner in the Classic & Elegant Category at The World’s Finest Glass of Bubbly Awards 2019.
