London Bar Serves Tea-Flavoured Champagne with Afternoon Tea!

A venue is London is crafting a new drink so you no longer have to choose between having a cup of tea or a glass of bubbly with your afternoon tea.

Sketch, a restaurant and bar in West London, have produced a tea-strained Champagne which offers the taste and bubbliness of Champagne with a subtle note of tea.

There are two tea styles available to choose from: Earl Grey and vanilla. The Champagne is poured through the tea leaves on a strainer to capture those aromas and flavours.

Enjoy this unique bubbly with a delightful menu of macaroons, pastries, sandwiches (such as caviar and quail egg), cakes and of course, scones and jam!

The sketch RICH Tea costs £68 and is served with Veuve Clicquot Champagne.

The venue also offers a more traditional Champagne afternoon tea and English sparkling wine afternoon tea, which is served with Breaky Bottom English sparkling wine.
