André Jacquart

André Jacquart

For four generations, the parents and grandparents of André Jacquart only produced Champagne grapes.

In 1958 André Jacquart started producing his own estate-bottled Champagne in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.

Since 2004, Champagne André Jacquart has been located in Vertus on the Cote des Blancs.

The estate is now actively managed by Marie Doyard and her brother Benoît, André’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Maurice Doyard, founder of the CIVC [Comité Interprofessionnel de Champagne].

The vineyard in the heart of the Côte des Blancs is 100% Chardonnay in Vertus and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.

Caisse vendange

Vinification is in barrels as well and the whole range benefits from a long ageing time in the cellar after tirage (4 years minimum for non-vintage cuvees and from 5 to 8 years for vintage cuvees) and low dosages.

Production today is about 100,000 bottles per year.
