A delicious Prosecco with only 3 grams of sugar per litre sounds too good to be true.   However, Cirotto, an artisan winery from the Asolo DOCG region, have managed to achieve it with their new Prosecco Superiore Extra Brut launched this year.

Having hardly any sugar, leaves no room for error in the winemaking process.  From caring for the grapes to bottling, every step has to be of a very high standard in order to produce a top quality wine which is a pleasure to drink.  Sugar is often used to cover up quality imperfections, so when there is virtually none, “You really lay your cards on the table” says Barbara Cirotto, Cantina Cirotto.
