Casa Bianchi

Casa Bianchi has its roots in Italy when in 1910 Don Valentin Bianchi came to Argentina from Fasano, Italy.

After several different jobs and hard work, Don Valentin realised his dream of having a vineyard and winery. In 1934, after overcoming several difficulties, he managed to obtain recognition in Buenos Aires thus getting the award Maximum Exponent of Quality at the Official Exhibition and Contest of Wines held in Mendoza.

In 1960, his sons became involved with the winery and they became known as ‘Valentin Bianchi’.

His spirit, passion and outstanding personality left a memorable mark in the company. The amazing creation of the exquisite wines Don Valentín Bianchi started in the sunny vineyards located at San Rafael, Mendoza.

In 1966, the President of Italy decorated him with the Gran Cruz del Cavaliere Ufficiale, in recognition of his distinguished services and nobility.

Sparkling wines

In 1995, Casa Bianchi finally made their first sparkling wine under the guidance of a French expert. It took 20 years and many trips to France’s Champagne region to get inspiration and find suitable land in Argentina. Using the traditional method, they managed to craft quality sparkling wines.
